Thursday

Second, I need to accept that I'm not going to do the following things:

1. Write a best-selling novel

2. Compose a Top-Ten single

3. Create a best-selling game

Only if I accept that these things will never happen, can I truly become able to do any of these things. At least, that's my theory. I only ever get a girl when I'm not trying to get one. Perhaps I can only do great things if I'm not trying. So I'm just gonna sit here, very deliberately not thinking abou the greatest novel ever written, until it pops into my head.....

Just give me a moment....

Tuesday

Camping:

Everyone does it, everyone complains when other people do it. I think "camper" may be the most hypocritically slung insult since "hypocrite".

Camping (not going into the wilderness with tents kind, but the hanging out in one place in a multiplayer first-person shooter kind) is just a part of the game. If you can't deal with campers, I think it speaks just as much about one's own skills as they do with the actual camper's.

The only time camping is truly wrong is when there is an objective-based game and the team with the offensive objective are all camping. During a deathmatch, if one wants to camp, then camp. People get so upset about it that it's funny. What's wrong with using a winning strategy?
