Monday

Honestly, I would be updating more if the wireless internet here wasn't literally slower than dial-up. I've been timing how fast it takes www.yahoo.com to load, and so far it's been over 5 minutes. For some reason, my FTP seems to be going pretty well, though, so here's a screenshot of what I spent my 15 minutes on today:

I animated the splash where the falls hit the water, and made a few small edits to the left side of the cliff. Last week I made an aqueduct puzzle work properly and turn on and off flowing water effects. I find I can often get carried away by the presentation of of a scene rather than its functionality, but in the end that's important as well. In this particular scene, which I haven't actually decided the place of yet, the water animates, and is transparent in front of the cliff face, and where the player character can pass behind it. Also the clouds in the sky behind the cliff face scroll. These are the most state-of-the-art visual effects 1994 has to offer, no doubt.

Damn dude, that's hella pretty. I still would like to help you with that script, if you're offering. Only trouble is, I don't have RPG creator, and I use a Mac now. Unless there's an easier way to import scripts.

Drop me an e-mail; you know where to reach me.
